A southpaw boxer with a unique fighting style, Darchinyan currently trains with Angelo Hyder. He was previously trained by former 3-division world champion, Jeff Fenech, in Sydney and briefly by Billy Hussein. To date, Fenech and Darchinyan are the only Australian three-division world champions in the sport's history.
