The event is one of the most important shows WCW ever presented as it features the Hulk Hogan heel turn that shook the world of professional wrestling. Scott Hall and Kevin Nash left WWF to join WCW. Upon their arrival, The Outsiders said they wanted to take over World Championship Wrestling with Scott Hall saying the words “You Want a War? You’re gonna’ get one”. Hall and Nash promised a third man would join them at Bash at the Beach 96 for their match against Sting, Lex Luger and Macho Man Randy Savage, and the big revelation at Bash at the Beach sent shockwaves through-out the wrestling universe as Hulk Hogan joined Hall and Nash. Bash at the Beach 1996 would serve as a platform for the genesis of the nWo. The hostile takeover at this very pay per view would completely change WCW and the wrestling business. Elsewhere on the show Disco Inferno takes on Dean Malenko, John Tenta and Big Bubba slug it out in a Carson City Silver Dollar match, Ric Flair challenges Konnan for the US title, and Rey Mysterio battles Psychosis. 00:00 – Intro 01:28 - Hero Wars Promo 03:28 – Rey Mysterio vs Psychosis 06:43 – John Tenta vs Big Bubba 09:38 – DDP vs Jim Duggan 11:19 – Dungeon of Doom / Horsemen Promos 12:31 – Public Enemy vs Nasty Boys 14:02 – Disco Inferno vs Dean Malenko 17:10 – Steve McMichael vs Joe Gomez 19:05 – Ric Flair vs Konnan 22:26 – Anderson & Benoit vs Taskmaster & Giant 25:55 – Build-up to the Hostile Takeover Match 28:41 – Hall, Nash & The Third Man vs Luger, Savage & Sting 32:32 – Hulk Hogan Turns Heel 35:11 – Final thoughts / Credits #wcw #Wrestling #nWo.
