Two grown women acting like a pair10 year olds (I've seen 10 year olds who act better !), and I gave up after 15 minutes. The concept was good, and would have been watchable, in the hands of a decent scriptwriter, and actors who could act. Laugh out loud ???? I couldn't even raise a smile. When Hallmark get it right its brilliant, but oh when they get it wrong it stinks. And another thing, is Deck The Halls the only carol that Hallmark know ???? there ARE dozens of other well known carols out there, but this one is played in every Christmas film. Change the record Hallmark !!!!

Too over the top sappy, poorly executed, ... I didn't make it half way before calling it quits

I loved so many things about this movie. It has humor, great actors, wonderful decorations and it really was well put together. I will be putting this movie on while decorating our home for the holidays this year. Highly recommend it.

A Parody is hard to review and very subjective So no one can predict if you will like a given one or not. Myself, I do not like parodies in general. I almost never can stand them. But I liked this one. Maybe that's because I have watched so many Hallmark (and knockoff) Christmas movies that I can tick off the plot points available to put in one. But I don't have to because this movie did it. In fact, with just a slight variation in how actors delivered their lines and maybe take out a few of the more sarcastic ones and you would have a typical Hallmark movie. Or almost at least. For one thing, they crammed in the different plot points a little too much to be serious. But tick them off. For instance, the "token adorable little girl" which is actually a line by one of the sisters and this little girl is totally that cliche. And when the chips are down and someone needs convincing, that little girl says to herself "i know what will convince him" and her strategy is another total cliche. Acting in satire and parody are especially hard to judge because a little exaggeration/over-acting is necessary. The exaggeration is usually what turns me off. I thought the actors delivered this aspect very well. I saw a comment that there was no story. That's partly the point. Stories in Christmas romance movies are notoriously thin with an occasional exception. And then there is the tying up everything neatly in a bow so that everyone is happy. There is a line to that effect. My title is a quote from Eve. In a whimsical movie with no plot, that line seems to summarize a hidden message with unusual profundity. Or maybe it's just another plot point where the lead character reaches the low point just before the climax. Kudos to the writers, director and main actors.

This movie could have been lots of fun. Given the premise of making fun of a typical Hallmark type Christmas movie there was potential. But it didn't get that funny. The 2 sisters sound silly at times. And things actually end up like a boring done to death Christmas movie. There was no magic like a Groundhog Day type fantasy. The cast includes real life spouses Brant Daugherty and Kim Hidalgo. He is better when not acting cutesy. Don't get how the fantasy and reality blended together.

I am in no way connected or related to anyone in this film, so I am free to be truthful about it. It has all the elements for a 10 star Christmas movie except one. It has absolutely no story. In spite of great actors, great location, great directing the plot was the worst I have seen in years. No real humor, no chemistry between the stars, just cliche after cliche after cliche and no story to connect them. Definitely not worth the time.

Wow, this wasn't just a great Christmas movie, it was an amazing regular movie. It was so smart and witty, with colorful characters who were really memorable. They had fun with the standard Christmas movie genre, but in a really smart and super respectful way. This was just a really fine piece of writing and should be an instant classic. Loved it! Great job! Sequel please!!!! By the way, Up network seems to have very humorous and off-beat Christmas movies and they totally rock for that. They're not just cookie cutter movies, so it is very refreshing. But this was really a cut above.

This was a fascinating idea, to be trapped in a Christmas movie! It pokes fun at all the classic tropes but has it's own good message too. I was so pumped for this one and I was not disappointed at all!!
