I took two 6 year olds who seemed quite happy to watch it. It's not for older kids maybe anything older than 9 may struggle with attention. As an adult I like animation movies Pixar etc... this was just ok.
Gorgeous animation and some fun characters. The scorpions were great and lots of great attention to detail. Shame that once AGAIN a female had to be the smart one showing the dumb boys how it's done. Sooooo over this! At first I thought wow two male leads cant believe it..but no soon enough the savvy heroine rocked up. Can we stop with the virtue signalling in children's cinema?? It's nauseating. The movie was fast paced and entertaining enough. Nine year old grandson enjoyed but any older would be too late.
Around The In 80 Days This cartoon lacked a strong central story, and so much of the humour fell flat, I found many of the characters menacing and the choice of monkeys, gerbils and frogs was, to my mind a mistake. What this was based upon I am unclear, certainly not Jules Verne's classic novel of eccentric scientist and his faithful Chinese valet, the story was dire. Overall it lacked originality, humour, story and well drawn characters, at best this is a week 4 outta 10, meaning skip this tripe.
