Good movie!

#Asuran Raw film ! Action sequences are amazing ! Asuran is a story of blood and flesh. The film has got bright chances to win a few National Awards. Dhanush has delivered a terrific performance and the interval scene is one among the best mass scenes an actor can get in this kind of a movie. He has literally lived as the character. Manju Warrier, comes up with power-packed emotions. Pasupathi, Naren, Ken, Teejay and other members of the cast have done complete justice to their respective roles, music score from G V is Too good. Cinematography is totally flawless

Expectation, Reputation, Pressure ... So What! Vetrimaaran delivers a masterpiece yet again with absolute ease and conviction. Cinematography, BGM, Screenplay & Stunts are top notch. Screen presence of Dhanush is breathtaking. A must watch.. Strictly for adults ( violence )

The first half of Dhanush's new movie Asuran is bloody good, marrying the intensity and visceral edge of a Bala movie with a more commercial edge (and not in the schizophrenic rudderless manner Bala himself did in Avan Ivan). The second half loses that sharpness and drives into bog standard 80's rural potboiler area, and even the caste angle appears to be played in a very superficial hero-glorifying manner (especially jarring is the token social message about education being the upliftment of the exploited masses). These are disappointing shortcomings especially since the film has some genuine strengths, mainly in the unvarnished setting (no item numbers, no out-of-place gloss) and a genuine regard for the great Indian masala drama. Also, Dhanush gives the role his all - with his body language and mannerisms he is able to convey a much older character and in a more subtle and nuanced manner than Vikram would have done.

First hour or so is very good, refreshing. Then it goes down as the story goes back as clichéd images, action plays out. Still, a good watch.

Script was poorly written and realism missing in action scenes.but actors those who acted in this film they done their job brilliantly.
