This was just a fun and entertaining movie. Without spoiling the film, the protagonist (Rex) spends a good portion of the movie talking to himself into and out of sticky situations. The banter between the two (the one?) of them is reason to visit this film alone, but add in a kooky family, violence, a touch of gore and a pinch of heart, and you've got a good time on a Friday night in.
What a breath of fresh air... this film was great, thoroughly enjoyed it from start to 'finish' and superbly filmed, the acting was excellent, and Ben was exceptional! Very highly recommended... just changed my rating to 10!
This film start with a girl "Alia" running away from a bunch of men, and she jump into the water scene! As turnout, this film is about a former prisoner "Rex" need to save Alia from her cannibal family! Entire film full of boring conversation, and annoying overuse scene! Such as, overuse of the song playing at the background scene, overuse of the flashbacks scene, overuse of the hallucinate scene, overuse of the hanging scene, overuse of the making conversation with imaginary people scene, overuse of the calling names scene, overuse of the dining scene, overuse of the walking scene, overuse of the quoting movie character scene, overuse of the switching from down to up POV scene, overuse of the arguing scene, overuse of the switching right to left POV scene! Make the film unwatchable! All the killing scene in the film have blood at certain point, but overall portray by sideways, and occur in too short of time! Make the film frustrated to watch! At the end, Rex bragging of he killing Alia family to save her! Still have a post credit scene! Olli looking at his family photo! That's it! Another disappointed film!

What a delightfully, twisted, violent and just plain messed-up movie. It certainly made the start to an otherwise bleak 2021 a little brighter. An army vet with emotional issues is caught up in a bank robbery. He saves the day but is punished for his heroics. He decides to start fresh in a new place but trouble seems to follow him. If you like your movies violent, bloody and unnecessary, you will enjoy this one.
When I first heard of Bloody Hell the write up made this sound like the new Hostel. I checked out the trailer and thought ok some comedy splashed in there, this could be interesting. Well it is..for about 25 minutes. We get some quick flashes of a bank robbery, a court case and now Rex is out of jail, looking to get out of his home town and away from the constant paparazzi. He travels to Finland because why not and next thing he's hanging in someone's basement. Just as you're getting excited about the fact this movie isn't wasting any time and getting right into the action..it stops. Fast forward to the final 15 minutes and you get your hopes up for a climactic ending only to be let down yet again. There's a couple of laughs but mostly I found this pretty boring, lacking in horror and there's zero mystery. You know exactly what's happening from the moment he ends up there.
