I saw "Tyler Perry's Boo 2! A Madea Halloween", starring Tyler Perry- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:Out of the Shadows, Star Trek_2009; Cassi Davis-House of Payne_tv, School Daze; Patrice Lovely-Love Thy Neighbor_tv, Je'Caryous Johnson's Marriage Material and Tito Ortiz- Zombie Strippers, The Crow:Wicked Prayer, Oh yeah, most people will probably know him as an Ultimate Fighter. This is the 10th Madea movie and the 2nd Madea Halloween movie-the first one was way back in 2016. These Madea movies are popular and people either really like them or they think they are kind of silly- that is one of the more politer words I heard to describe their feelings about them. I tend to lean towards the silly side-but there are still laughs to be had. Tyler plays several roles, including Madea. Cassi/Aunt Bam and Patrice/Hattie also return, with Tito as the new guy. Tito is a friend of Tyler's and he also has a teenage daughter that is friends with Tyler's daughter. Like the last Boo movie, the teenage daughters are in search of a party and find one at an old campground, right outside of town. The kicker here is that 2 psycho brothers supposedly killed 14 kids there and were never caught. So, guess who shows up at the campgrounds during the party? 2 masked chainsaw wielding maniacs and their friend, a little girl dressed in a white dress, with long hair-you know, like in the Ring. The usual Madea high-jinks ensue. At the end of the movie are some bloopers and out takes, just before the end credits start. It's rated "PG-13" for drug content, language, horror images and sexual content- no nudity-and has a running time of 1 hour & 41 minutes. It's not one that I would buy on DVD-the first one was better-and I don't think I would rent it either-did I mention, the first one was better?-so if you really want to see it, I would wait until it comes to cable TV.

First let me say that I love the Madea of old. The last few films have really started to become obscene and have lost any sense of morality they once had. Not only is this film not funny it's torturous to sit through. Tyler Perry has traded quality and morals for a quick buck and cheap obscene attempts at laughter. Don't waste your time on this crap. Re-watch one of the earlier films when Madea was still funny and endering.

This has to be the worst movie Tyler Perry has made so far. I wasn't that crazy about his first Halloween movie, but this was terrible. I fast forwarded it the first 38 minutes because it was so boring. And no one really wants to watch Tiffany. There was no horror, I was hoping something scary was going to happen when the supposed murderer came out of the water, when Hattie's in the outhouse, but nothing happened. Even with all of them being stranded in the house was boring. If there's going to be a Boo 3, PLEASE hire someone who has experience with horror so at least we can let out a real scream. The movie doesn't stay with any scene long enough for any one to get scared or really interested in what's happening. Come on, it really wasn't very funny. I know it made a lot of money, but that before word got out on how bad it was. I love Tyler Perry, but, for what ever reason his Madea Halloween movies just don't stand up to his usual movies.
