Chandramukhi 2

Chandramukhi, a name well known to almost every film watcher in Kollywood. So when you watch the film, you can't help but compare both. The plotline, first of all, does not correspond with the first film. So many questions were raised. So, the vettaiyyan who killed Chandramukhi is not the real vettaiyan but his friend who killed him and overtook his crown. So does that mean Rajinikanth's character from the first film isn't actually the real vettaiyan??! Also, there was no indication of Gunasekhar's broken leg in the first film?! No one touched Chandramukhi's room for 17 years, yet the room was super clean?!!! And I honestly never understood the back story of the samiyaar with Chandramukhi. If the point of the movie is to be a sequel or a prequel to Chandramukhi 1, then, sorry to say, Chandramukhi 2 did not justify it. ALSO, HOW DID HE NOT REALISED IT EARLIER THAT THERE IS FIRE WHEN THE WHOLE PLACE WAS LITERALLY BURNING DOWN. LIKE REALLY??! The music and background score, in my opinion, did not meet expectations. I was looking away for almost all the songs :( Especially the very famous Raa Raa song. Very disappointed in this rearranged version. The actors have done their roles nicely. Kangana has done a perfect portrayal of Chandramukhi's grace, elegance, and beauty. Lawrence was fine, even though sometimes it seemed like an exaggerated performance. Vadivelu, as always, rocked, but the comedy scenes weren't delivered as they're expected to be. Laxmi was a clever choice to portray Chandramukhi, and the revealing scene of her as Chandramukhi was simply well made! Overall, if you aren't too much into detailed plotline and looking for a family entertainer to pass your time, then Chandramukhi 2, can be considered as a choice. :) P. S. I still can't seem to wrap my head around how in the first scene, Pandian rode the bike straight into the bus and saved the kids AND how he managed to lift the girl out to that kolam. EPPUDRA.

THE storyline is different. No usual generation after generation story. Its a ghost story. Its unlike most of the formula movies that has made in the recent past. It has his usual mannerisms but lacks punch lines or political dialogs (a welcome change). It is a ghost movie about an ancestral castle which has the ghost of a dancer who was sodomized and killed by the king who lived there. Comedy plays an integral part in making the movie. Kangna Ranaut Chandramukhi has done a fabulous job and given one of her best performance. This is a great masterpiece psychological horror movie inspired by a true story "NOT the whole story of the movie" (only from the story of CHANDRAMUKHI)

The movie was terrible. The CGI is terrible. The whole thing was ridiculous. The only good thing was vadivelu but the rest of it was nonsense. There were things flying for no reasons. The concept of ghost was not there at all. The director just made the screams loud, that's not horror concept. Please don't look forward to anything for this movie. I am not even sure how the cast agreed to this ridiculous plot. There were so many unnecessary scenes. It took so long for Chandramukhi to surface and on top of that once she surfaced the were other things as well but it didn't make sense. Don't waste your time on this please.

If u are fan of good acting there is kangana , if you want action and heroism then there is raghav sir , background music , graceful dances full paisa vasool movie...... And also there are horror moments which give you goosebumps and the climax scene of sword fights was also the best scenes of the movie there is one sensual song also which takes your heart away . ...... I gives you thrill must watch theater amazing experience you know raghav is a gem his acting is mind blowing and the direction is superb and kangana expression are so good and it's a south movie to so much good things you have to see in this movie just go and watch it best story all things is too good electrifying presence of kangana and raghav with each and every frame of her acting and it is just top most quality. I was most unsure whether Chandramukhi was actually reborn Kanha was totally transformed into Chandramukhi. Such was her great acting and her dancing skill were much better. Raghav lawrence has succeed to imitate the style of Thalaiva (Rajnikant Sir) .

These days all the movies are on action drama with larger than life characters i don't like those kind of actions movies, so this is like a fresh air in current trend. I wish if it could have a little more Kangana Ranaut scenes. At the end she is the Hero of this movie and her acting is out of this world. This role perfectly match her, she did it exceptionally well. She is just stuck in my head that i couldn't help my self but become her fan from this movie. Overall, this is very good movie . Family and kids love it. If you are bored with action action action only action movies then this is option for you. Highly recommended.

She is the perfect presence in chandramukhi 2! Loved the character lot 💯💥! Her climax scene was intense! 🔥 Her dance her expression was totally stunning It's a right creative call to kangana Absolutely Perfect choice. Good entertainer movie. It's really tough to bring back the same concept with differences in it. Vadivelu though he is aged , he makes us laugh as much possible but as compared to chandramukhi 1 ,the comedy here is very less. The flashback story is really good that people can't predict before. Even in part one we don't know why the snake is there and again here we don't what exactly the snake is again. Is it Chandramukhi ? Question arises. The chandramukhi room is very clean even after 16 years. Whereas in part 2 they show it was cleaned by jyothika. Even the doors were with spider webs. No much songs that is a very positive one. No prolonging dialogues. Kids will like it. Totally worth to watch.

Attar waste👎👎👎👎. Though kangana acting was good but not even suitable for this role. Copy cat of part 1. Every scene remembers only Rajini and Jyothika, u don't feel like that RL and Kangana was acting in the movie. That too Vettaiyan role and make up of RL is completely kaari thupura maadiri iruku. Worst comedy and worst story. Don't waste your time and money. If not booked, you guys are a lucky person. 0/5. The story was very predictable cause you already know what had happened before, and speaking of which there wasn't any suspense left in the first part whatsoever for them to unwrap in a part 2, so there was no suspense at all.

It fails to deliver the captivating entertainment and spine-tingling thrills that its predecessor offered, often veering towards boredom. The climax, in particular, drags on endlessly, testing the patience of the audience. Lead actor Lawrence's exaggerated performance proves to be a significant irritant, feeling entirely out of place for the character he portrays. The first half of the film lacks the spark of excitement, only coming to life when the flashback episode unfolds in the second half. On a positive note, Kangana's presence graces the screen with her beauty, and her acting and dance sequences, while decent, lack the impact one would hope for. Some might argue that she doesn't quite fit the character as envisioned. On the technical front, the cinematography and set design shine, showcasing the visual prowess of the production team. Unfortunately, the songs fail to leave a mark. Moreover, the direction adheres to an outdated style that doesn't align with contemporary storytelling trends. In conclusion, I cannot recommend watching Chandramukhi 2, either in theaters or on OTT platforms.
