Good movie!

What could have been a great movie was just really bad. The acting was so bad and the storyline just as bad. I find with gay movies they are generally cliched or over the top. Don't waste your time on this one.
I can understand many LGBTQ people are feeling attacked for the exposure of the promiscuity lifestyle and the dangerous behaviors of many men, who will do much worst than you see in this movie. In fact the movie is so mild in comparison, but I can't imagine showing more without it tuning it into an X rated film, like many other of the like. Many others that are complete trash. Like Vento Seco, full of x rated scenes, as if all of the gay community had only one thing in mind. An absolute lack of respect for towards normal gays. I did some research and it's getting many negative reviews. You guys, you have plenty other websites to watch what you're looking for.... a film ain't it. The film is well executed, great cinematography, great landscapes, great music, great editing, and so on. When it comes to performances, Matthew Crawley takes the cake. He is so charismatic and amazing. Handsome for sure, bust most importantly, his portrayal is so mesmerizing, great actor! Pau Maso on the other hand, felt a little stiff and lost at times, but not sure how one goes about portraying memory loss without showing a sense of forgetfulness. He is also the writer and director, so here goes that. How many balls can one person juggle? For an indie film it was great. I find the reviews funny, people watch indie films with unrealistic expectations. Money is key to making amazing films, I guess not everyone has enough sense of filmmaking to understand that. Lack of knowledge makes for many terrible reviews, because when you speak from ignorance, that's what happens, you sound ignorant. Don't mind the reviews from burnt gays that are mad at the exposure, it's a very solid and decent film! Just like Aleksandr's Price dared doing back in 2013, it exposes the dangerous behaviors in the gay community, which can get you killed.
I understand where the director is coming from but the story is messy, the acting is slow, the lead actor is painful to watch and even the twist(s) at the end won't save the whole thing. 2 for the beautiful images of Budapest and its countryside.
One ridiculous scene after another. The main character was as boring as he could get, the storyline was ridiculously boring and just crap. There was nothing I enjoyed about this movie.
Regardless of strength of story, the lead actor is excruciatingly difficult to watch. He's flat and just not good. The pitch of his voice also had me itching to turn the movie off. As for the story...eh? As others have mentioned, it has a really big twist at the end. Is the twist good enough to justify watching the movie? I guess if you're not paying for it and you can get past the poor performance of the lead. Then sure. Overall though, the story is weak, Hugo abusive, and the lead pathetic.
