When see the cover i think its about crime, and investigation like "Bad Guys". I wrong it more like "Murderer" but with less story and less emotion. First 30 minute nothing happened, even didn't feel thrill atmosphere, it little bit help because little bit funny scene (little thrill but can make bit smile). After little story explained, just feel nonsense about their(main character) reason, why they choose that place for trip. It will be different if they in that land in first place and nowhere to go. Its thriller but have some of sex scene, perhaps just for sale value, but even in that scene it still disappointed. Honestly I watch this movie because its Ma-Dong-seok movie, and use him as cover. So what make me disappointed is Almost All cast who play sex scene is naked, but Ma-Dong-seok the only one still full dressed even when in rape scene, it nonsense at least in that condition he will take off his shirt or pants to show he is the superior one. Rape scene with main antagonist using full-dress is Really idiot, moreover he is psychopath. After sex scene passed the thriller begin, and if you like a bloodshed this is the main your enjoyment.
The premise has some potential but it relies on the stupidity of the couple. There is violence and rape. Just can't buy Ma as the bad guy. He is the hero too often. The animals and food are the grossest thing. Far fetched twist. Not good.
I visit sites like kissasian and dramanice regularly to search for new Asian (non Indian) flicks. I found this listed as "Deep Trap" and had a hard time finding it on IMDb. The premise looked interesting and I thought of giving it a go as I was yearning for a brutal and explicit thriller. Moderately satisfied, here I am writing a review since it hasn't been reviewed yet. Kwon Joon-sik and Lee So-yeon are a married couple distressed and depressed by a miscarriage and Joon sik suffers from a temporary erectile dysfunction as a result too. They decide to take a day off and head to a restaurant located on a remote island for a change of scenery . The restaurant owner park is a heavily built creepy man with a mute and pretty girl Min Hee in his tow. It is reveled later in the film what secrets each of them harbor and what are the cruel intentions of psycho Park for the couple. The films a takes a good 30 min to set in the pace and start on the actual thrill and I don't and have any complaints. The acting ranges from good to average and is acceptable as well. I wont call it a thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat but its pretty decent. It has a couple of graphic sex scenes true to its Korean nature involving a semi brutal rape scene. The ending was somewhat predictable but still enjoyable. If you are looking for a explicit thriller this definitely should be on your watchlist.
This has to be one of teh worse starts to a movie I have ever seen. Overacting at the bar in the opening scene. Awful acting by the female lead who looks like she is about to cry all of the time. They book a trip to somewhere they obviously bhavent seen yet she says she booked it in the net? Whole plot is stupid. Switched off after 20 miutes
It's an okay film that has a nice twist. I'm not sure if this is classified as a horror movie but it isn't gory. The beginning is a bit slow but the creepiness helps you through. I was a little disappointed with then end. I wanted to know if the circumstances improved for these folks. It wasn't bad though. Check It out.
After watching this film I kind of hate Ma dong-seok.. Worst movie, poor storyline, too much sexual scenes and nudity.. So disgusting movie..such kind of movie glorify hatred
