I've never heard Demetri before but with the Greek name i figured I'd give him a chance. The first thought i had was that he could pass as Gilligan. His humor is alot more subtle than your typical comedian. I couldn't figure out if he was trying to pass as a teenager with that nerd outfit but at one point he talks about being 30 in past tense. So that definitely threw me off. I think he needs to reinvent his look. I'm actually just making small talk here because were now required to write huge paragraphs. Bananus. That is so funny for some reason. Also Technolgy-American. He had some semi-profound ideas mixed in with a whole lot of simple sarcasm. One reviewer made a point to say there was no s-ex jokes but i guess they missed the alphabet portion. Sometimes the best thing you can say about a comic today is that he didn't make you mad or feel bad about your culture. Demetri gets points for those. I didn't have any big belly laughs but had some good hard giggles. He talks about things a lot of people can identify with. Over all, i would watch him again and that's a big compliment because there are definitely comics we put on our Never Again list. I honestly can't figure out why my reviews are so frequently declined since I'm not going against any of their increasingly complex rules. All I'm doing this time is removing the hyphen between the banana joke word and we'll see if that satisfies their moral compass.

I love the drawings. Some of the jokes arent Superb, but, eh, Its still a pretty good comedy special.

This was the third stand-up comedy I watched from Demetri martin. After Live (At the Time) from 2017 and Standup Comedian from 2012, both shows that were very enjoyable, it was time for The Overthinker this time. A perfect title to resume Demetri Martins mind. He thinks a lot about things nobody thinks about and that's what we like about him. His jokes are well thought of, most of the time obvious but only he thought about them. He's a natural to bring his one-liners, they all work. His drawings are also very funny, very basic as a drawing but certainly funny as comedy. This show is what we are basically used of him by now, it still works (at least to me), and I'm already looking forward to his next show. Demetri Martin never disappoints, he's an excellent entertainer.

Demetri Martin has made me laugh in the past. He's made me laugh with the same jokes as the ones at the beginning of this special! The foundation of his comedy is the twists of concepts so when they're the same as previous work it's like dead air. Going to watch one more of his specials because of benefit of the doubt: Netflix could have told him "we need to show the new audience the jokes we've heard"

His jokes aren't related to one another, but they're all based on fun, quirky and unique ideas that no other comedian has done. And that's super unique, because every new special I watch I can pinpoint at least 3 stolen jokes and tens of generic political rants that have been done for decades. So if you want something fresh and light on mediocrity and political garbage - watch Demetri.

I Love Stand up Comedy and the reason why I give him a 10 out of 10. Is his Difference bettween alot of other Stand ups. His Music, his Art Work, his Comedy is alot more different then most. He is a very smart man. Love his work it is also pretty funny.

Demetri's humor is incentive, clever and always a delight. There's not another like him.
