Ever nick yourself shaving and that miniscule slice just will not stop bleeding no matter how long you keep pressure on it? This is the movie version of that. Note how the people who praise this movie can't describe it but only give vague platitudes, 'it tells us about ourselves, our future, the pandemic, you have to think, it's an anthology'. Any movie that depends on narration failed in telling a story. Yes, it's true, I concede that the loon who interviews with the host at the end did attempt to give some meaning to the doors but that doesn't make a bad movie a good movie. If it did then I can write a movie about people in a park suddenly attacking each other and then have a crazy man come out and give a dialogue about how global warming made them do it. Wow, that's deep. Something about aliens making us hallucinate because they like to watch.
What a surprising movie. It's weird, different and a little messed up. It's not a Hollywood everything has to be in a nice little package. It's original, I've never seen anything like it before. The only thing I can complain about is that I didn't want it to end. I just finished it and I would watch it again immediately if I had the time.
Really nothing to say for this movie. Probably the director was on this page too. The idea could be ok but the overall movie looks more based on hallucinations more than sci-fi. And nothing really happens....
Would have rated it zero if I could. I can't believe someone actually made this movie. I don't like to be nasty or overly critical of someone's work but I honestly have nothing nice to say about it. Maybe it was made for a very small, very particular and odd audience.
As most people here, I made a mistake letting a cool movie poster and a trailer string me along to watch this movie, without checking any reviews. This movie is so bad that someone needs to get sued for it's badness. It's not crappy acting bad or it looks bad, FX are bad. No. It's the worst kind of bad - it offers nothing except it's simple, ok, main premise, it has nothing to say about anything, plot is almost nonexistent, things happen just for the sake of happening. But it tries to sell itself as something more atmospheric, ethereal, mysterious but it's not. Vapid and shallow experience, that's all you get. If it was 10-15 min indie short clip on the internet, fine, whatever, but a feature length movie, no. Skip it completely, you'll get nothing out of it except wasted time.
The acting is great, the production values are good and it's sci fi value is great too. It might not be for everyone but I found it to be much better than a lot of rubbish on Amazon Prime these days.
Never doing that again, lol. I've seen high school films better than this. Really bad dialogue No character motives Sloppy plot, no real direction Tries too hard to be deep Those two scientists, Jamal and whatever, were the only two people who talked somewhat realistically.
I am dying for a decent sci-fi movie in 2021. This isn't it. The picture on the front of this had me SLIGHTLY interested - only to be disappointed in the actual movie when I learned that people were walking around with plastic hazmat suits on with vacuum hoses attached to their heads. Just stay away from this movie. It is horrible.
