I dont often find myself enjoying movies where the villain. That being said, this movie portrays a real life villain that is accurately depicted as man who has an almost intangible amount of money and does things beyond the reach of what any normal middle class person could ever do. Truly this movie is a testament to what you can do if only your family had become increasingly wealthy due to the role in apartheid, and you had the ambition that only a true sociopath can, and suppress your worker's right to organize to the best of your ability, while typically, maintaining your rights within the law.
Despite opinions to the contrary, Elon Musk is not a robot, but he has done things that very few living people can claim. This well-done documentary explores his powerful visions and spends time on important issues. There are particularly interesting sections on the potential of getting to Mars and the benefits of autonomous vehicles, as well as the developments in artificial intelligence, which are seen as terrifying, even by some involved in creating them.
Preaching to the choir effect. The only target audience for this crappy documentary are those pathetic men that have Elon Molusk as their lord and savior, believing he is some sort of "real life iron man" (Something even more pathetic that having Harry Potter or Eragon as some sort of holy grails of literature) Iron Man is just a puerile fantasy. There is no "real-life Iron Man" just in the same way there is no "real-life Batman" or real life tooth fairy. The idea a billionarie rich heir has your best interest in mind, or that he is going to "save free speech" is something only a frustrated manchild would believe, probably with the secret hope of some day becoming just as rich as him (Spoiler: Is not going to happen and he does NOT care about you or me. He probably is into minors, like his massive creep daddy) Unless you are part of the Musk cult, this is going to come off as a rather weak waste of time.
I've taken turds more enjoyable than this fever dream masquerading as a doc of some pleb.
First and foremost, Artificial Intelligence was what I spent many years in graduate school studying. This is an excellent documentary. Most of the information it delivers is real for today's science. So where this is going? Intelligent Systems will likely cost many people their jobs; we are living a reality where AI is poised to make a major impact in all of our lives. Let me finish by suggestion you watch this and really think about the facts it presents. The future is upon us.........
