Good movie!

I haven't watched 96 so I have nothing too compare. I won't indulge with the plot but reading some other reviews defining the character of Ram and Janaki, I just want to point that there isn't any instability in the plot, the direction and the pace how the plot moved was smooth and made the emotions vibrant. Trying to scrutinize the movie with Janaki being "sincere or cheating wife" is going against such sweet heartbreaking story. Yes, I won't disagree that they should move on but I can't call them and make them do that. They are not us so stop the comparison and try to feel it the way it is meant and then judge it. The movie might give different kind of feel according to your age, marital status and past experiences and that is the beauty of it. The actors including the child and teen actors have all performed well.

Jaanu was the remake movie of '96',which is a classic movie of 2018. This remake movie was received by less telugu people because director fail to proper remake it.

Not a fan of Remakes but It's beautifully executed !! Samantha naturally and beautifully executed the role. Sharwa also Good as Ram .

Jaanu is a movie all about pure love with full of memories and emotions, full credit should be given to the director C Prem Kumar for making such unique movie, music by Govind Vasantha given life to this feel good love story, I am impressed with performances of Sharwanand and Samantha. Sharwanand is known for selecting unconventional and noncommercial scripts, shown lot of maturity in Ram character, his expressions are at next level while taking food in the scene where Jaanu offers her dinner plate to Ram at reunion meet. Also I liked the scene in Metro Rail Sharwa's turned his expression from smile to sad instantly as soon as he watches moving flight from window. In my opinion a hit movie is not measured in crores of business, in other hand it should carry with you while u leave the theatres, Jaanu is a movie will be with you even after reaching home, takes you through your memories, makes you feel good...

You will this film to best if you are seeing it for the first time.. if u have seen the original movie 96 before then you will miss the magic in this film as this remake was only able to match 90% of the real one.. but u will surely love it if u watch it for the first time.. will remember u your school days..

Slow paced movies. Acting was good but the movie was dam slow. The whole theater was sleeping. Classics shouldnot be touched.

Imagine doing this: You are on a fast food diet intentionally for five years. All you get to eat is McDonalds, KFC and everything that qualifies as junk that you can buy. And then five years later you walk home and you get to eat food your mom cooked. If you really can imagine the joy that meal gives you, you will complain that I used the word joy. You would tell me use a stronger word because joy just does not cut it. Bliss.. May be? This movie is that! Love in its true elements. Pure. It cleanses you...

Please watch 96 instead. Sharwanad delivered an amazing performance whereas Samantha delivered a very underwhelming performance and to be honest, destroyed the character of Jaanu. I am saying this being an admirer of Samantha. But please watch 96 instead. It is brilliant even if it is slow. But this movie just made a slow movie even slower and made it boring...
