Hi
this one has low rating, but l seem to enjoyed it..6\10 will for me 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥..
Absoulty best Action packed movie in years !!!! Jon Voight absoulty totally A List rating...... Entire cast of stars from many great Movies ... The negative reviews are absoulty insane reviews hat need removed ... I purchased and rented movie .. purchased I loved the film to put in my collection. On edge of seat the entire time during the entire film .... Some folks compared to Die Hard , liked 35 years ago ! But this is way better any much more realistic than Die hard ... Nothing negative about this film whatsoever ... Action Action Action All the way from beginning to end ... Had a plot a beginning and end ... Enjoy.
I love a bad movie, a guilty pleasure bad movie, This is NOT that. This is the most disjointed, convoluted nonsense I've ever seen. It would be painful to watch if it wasn't so utterly mystifying. Choice after choice, beat after beat it gets worse. The poor actors don't know what to do here. You can see them trying their best to maintain some dignity but I wanted to crawl under a rock, for them. The lead actress is unwatchable, everything looks like a set and even the most basic casual clothing looks like wardrobe. The plot is formulaic and still utterly nonsensical. BUT.. I almost want you to see this!?! I challenge anyone to watch the scene at 50min ( roof run) without shouting WTAF???? It's THAT bizarre.
Jon Voight joins some solid gold stars in his later years by completing payday movies. It's hard to believe even 10 years ago we'd see him star in something so amateur as this. Gibson plays an ex army surgeon trapped in a hospital by Irish gangsters, who saves the day with her exemplary skills. There is one scene where she's crossing the roof and glances down at the dozen waiting police, who all salute her. I actually laughed out loud at the cheesy ridiculousness of it all. She then proceeds with her white top on covered in bloodstains, to fight hardened gangsters in the style of Bruce Willis in Die Hard. The story isn't a bad one but the screenplay and dialogue are not even in B movie class. The men trying to appear tough and menacing just look like posturing schoolboys in the yard. The score is daytime TV movie class, and the photography standard on-the-cheap not-that-steady-cam. The directing is appalling. The acting apart from a few scenes for Rhys Meyers and Voight is mostly B movie or worse. It could have been a decent adventure had it been carried though properly: but sub standard photography, score, dialogue and directing have turned it into a laughable failure.
Jon Voight at his worst Sad to se a great actor get involve in garbage like this is, absolutely devastating. This film is awful. The plot holes are massive. I mean you would have to suspend all reality of society to believe some of the things that occur to set up the "story" or "plot" or whatever this thing is. There are other parts where you will just shake your head and ask: Why. That's the main question. This is utter nonsense. Unless you're into watching a plot that moves in ways that confuse you and make you annoyed, I would avoid this movie. Not good. I have never wanted a film to end so much in my life.
Dr. Michelle Miller (Leah Gibson) works at the Mercy Hospital as a single mom supporting her son Bobby (Anthony Bolognese) who loves soccer, or football as he insists. Mr. Miller died in one of those desert wars as his wife watched. This is when she left killing for curing. Ryan Quinn (Anthony Konechny) a member of the Irish mafia Quinn family is taken into custody by the FBI. The family attempts a "rescue." Ryan and an agent get shot and are taken to said hospital. The whole Quinn family shows up to see their son. The patriarch of the family is played by Jon Voight. He left Ireland so his family could have a clean legitimate start. His oldest son Sean (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) has different ideas on how to run the family business. It isn't long before gunplay is involved and the film moves into a hostage situation with a cat-and-mouse game with our ex-special forces lady doctor. This is a standard normal plot. It has better performances than most in the genre. No bad scenes or long scenes, but then again, no great scenes. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity. Mini-shower tease.
