Good movie!
First the movie makes no sense. And the girl that's in it with the child doesn't do anything she's so dumb she slams the metal car not the window with the kid in it of course your not gonna break it. Lifetime can do better WORST MOVIE DONT WASTE YOUR LIFE AND TIME AND WATCH IT WATCH SOMETHING ELSE!!!! Trust me don't waste your time I'd rather watch anything boring but this
This was the most pathetic thing ever to hit my TV screen. Boring boring boring. The woman in the movie was beyond stupid. I don't know how many characters I am forced to write to put the review through. Here is another line of text Here is another line of text Here is another line of text Cant think of anything else to say
I'm Italian but I have not been part of it. The film is not perfect (many mistakes by the plot and the actors) but I was very convinced of the concept of the story, taken from an Italian graphic novel. The protagonist might be less stupid, but the things he does go hand in hand with the plot context. The film deserves, a great innovation in Italian cinema, and a good bet for foreigners.
Now, I will not just say that I absolutely abhor the movie for no reason, I have reason in my decision to feel like this. The movie begins with an advertisement for a new life-proof car that is basically unbreakable. Then it skips scenes to a mother and her son driving, we soon see that the mother is shallow and seems obsessed with her past as a singer, possibly almost to the point of regretting having her son. To make a long story short, she makes numerous mistakes due to her stupidity and lack of common sense, and the child himself is also quite annoying as the movie progresses and clearly incapable of taking instructions of any kind. The child ends up becoming locked in the impenetrable car and that is the rest of the movie right there. After watching this, I feel thoroughly violated and assaulted and as if I've been stolen from, because this movie stole my valuable time from my life. I do not recommend it to anyone, not even as background noise.
The director and the screenwriters are Italian, OK, but it doesn't mean that this movie reflects our national artistic expression, neither that Italian filmmakers are the same unfit to tell "international" stories. I feel the need to defend our young artists and our cinema in general. This is NOT a sample to take in consideration about our cinema, in my eyes. Italy is a strange place as you know, and it's likewise weird to see how producers and distribution company choose which film realize and distribute. There are so many other great film and directors in our country. I really can't understand how come they chosen this film to try an international operation. That's what I think.
The movie is not even close as bad as the user reviews are making it out to be. Seriously. There are syfy channel productions with a higher rating. And this is way above them. Nice idea, super clean cinematography (even though I normally don't like it like this) and the actress is also "ok". Sure there are cringe moments. But for a sci-fi TV movie that was all pretty much as passionate as it gets.
