I want the French version please why don't you put everything directly? same for the big city's green and other Disney cartoons 😭😭😭
So first of all I read the most of the moongirl comics before watching the tv cartoon and love it especially Devil Dino, he is so cute and I love his relationship with Lunella. I really loved the fact that they gave her another human friend cause she did not really have any in the comics. Same for the parents they are really more goofy because in the comics they know she is moongirl and they are scare for her but in the cartoon they don't know. So the most of the episodes are filler since it's primary for kids but at least every episode have a moral in it and I think it's cold for kids. I really loved the last episodes with the big revelation and the end is a little bit sad but we all know that there will be a season 2 and everything will be resolved and everyone will be happy ! I highly recommend it for the entire family.
10/10 right off the bat. This show's plot is well thought out, the animation is flat-out AMAZING and I love how the main character is a role-model we can all look up too. The show is about 13-year old Lunella who's a superhero known as Moon Girl along with her sidekick Devil Dinosaur and her friend Casey as they fight villains threatening the city. Everything in the show is just so vibrant, the battle music is also amazing and we have an inspirational black-female lead. Need I say more? This show is the BEST and I DEFINITELY recommend watching it! (Also the cliffhanger at the end is also good)
This is one of those situations as a 30 year old I'm jealous of kids, we might have had Proud Family and maybe Danny Phantom, but wow this is amazing animation and story telling: I'm not the target demo for this but I am eternally grateful for this series: even if you're just a music fan you have to check this out because Raphael Saadiq supervising the music is literally a dream come true for why audiophiles out there. Even the commercial break transitions are pristine. If you're into animation this is incredible. If you're a kid that like good stories this is better than even old school Batman and the Justice League cartoons.
A very well made show overflowing with style even though it may be lacking slightly in character development and substance it more than makes up for that with eye popping animation reminiscent of into the spider verse, and overall well written characters. Not everything needs to be insanely complex to be enjoyable this show knows exactly what is a fun action packed romp with interesting characters and a heartfelt story, with messages about family friendship and teamwork while not being overly preachy like a lot of kids shows fall habbit to. I recommend it wholeheartedly and have no doubt the second season will build of the great stuff set up this season, I for one can't wait.
Marvel Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur it's good show to watch and it's so funny and I have to say they did awesome good job doing of the show and animation cartoons is my favorites and I find it interesting of the show and I enjoy it a lot and I find it most wonderful and inspiration. I think they should do comic books of the show that would be more interesting for people the around the world wants to get the comic books and continue the show on Disney channel and Disney plus. I am so excited for the show and I also find it more excitement for the kids and adults. I have to say is that this show is totally awesome, cool and funny.
As an adult the level of representation speaks to my inner child! I love the music especially the theme song! The diversity of LES and the issues that surface that moon girl and D face. I love the voice actors!! They do such an amazing job. I can't wait to have a kid so they can watch this show one day. I love the character development and how each voice actor represents the culture of the character. I love the community and how they come together in the show. I mean it's so beautifully written with such intention it's very clear. It's such a modern cartoon with a classic touch. A Black Family that owns a skating rink that loves their neighbors and their neighbors love them!! It doesn't get any better than that.
I don't remember the last time I saw a superhero show that actually represented black culture and an empowered way since static shock. It definitely deserves more attention, it's a breath of fresh air concerning animation, storytelling, superhero genre as a whole. Here we have the show that it's not afraid to talk about like issues like self-love, our hair, music (which btw, the music in this show is amazing!), and more. This show does a great job at balancing the action with the slice of life aspect, something I haven't seen done in this way since Nickelodeon's "Danny Phantom". There's something in this show for all ages (it can go from super silly to dramatic but also handle serious topics like panic attacks and even PTSD) and I love the representation it gives to the black community. It's refreshing to see a teenage nerd superhero! Something as a black female of color I did not see! Bravo Disney! Please don't cancel this one!
Some music scenes reminded me of the Jackson Five cartoons. Yes, I'm an old(er) viewer. But I still love animation/cartoons. I have managed to watch about 6 episodes so far. The animation is top notch. I love the relationship of Lunella/Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. The Casey character is one of my favorites to come along in a long time. The parents and grandparents are really cool and up-to-date. I hadn't heard of the comic and found the show while flipping through channels one afternoon. The music is great and very up-to-date sounding. I'm hoping the show is able to attract a loyal following. It's a really cute show.
