Description
The TV series Nie Xiaoqian, created by Shih-Hsien Chang and produced by an unlisted studio, first premiered on February 21, 2016 in Taiwan. It follows the story of Emergency room doctor Ling Cheng-Xi inadvertently released ghost Nie Xiao-Qian from her seal. The moment she saw him, she recognized him as her star-cross lover from 500 years ago and wanted to pick up their relationship where they left off. He, however, mistook her for a crazy, stalker patient who nobody seemed to notice. When exorcist Yan Qi got wind of her return, he tried to sever her fixation on Ling and help her reincarnate. But she rather cease to exist than to leave Ling's side. Meanwhile, a tree demon plotted revenge against her for a betrayal 500 years ago.
