I am NOT a picky woman. Give me a good story with a few good actors and I am a happy camper. This was the case in this movie. I almost didn't watch it at all due to hating almost everything Gravity Ventures throws at me. The other day I watch a WHOLE crappy movie and then at the end their logo popped up. So I guess the joke was on me. This was one of their very, very, VERY few movies I enjoyed by them. A twisted love story with revenge. I thought it was slow at times but it made up for it with good acting and well told story. So I would say it was a solid B & 1/2 + movie. Not great, but also not just awful. As always be your own judge and give it a chance yourself.
Connor Holloway (Kris Park) spent over a decade in jail for manslaughter, a crime he did not commit. He was the lover, driver, and escort of Mary (Chloe Farnsworth) a */prostitute who likes the moniker "entertainer." While on one of her gigs, she gets tied up, raped, and murdered. Connor took the fall for four guys. His job was to protect her and he failed. It is now 14 years later and he is going vigilante getting his revenge, never mind where he got the gun. Meanwhile, Mary's sister (Alexandria Holden) is stalking Connor as she thinks he killed her sister. Connor was a loser living in the street. We discover his real dad was a serial rapist and the victim had the baby. He spent his life being taken care of by the state. So we know Connor and Freddy Krueger are Hollywood rape babies. The film was not put together well. The character build up was weak as were the characters. Spending time in prison with three square and a cot was better for Connor than sleeping in the streets and begging. I can't imagine carrying that torch for over a decade. Guide: F-word. Rape. Nudity (Chloe Farnsworth)
