The big question i have is how much back taxes does Bruce Willis owe? This guy continues to pump out dozens of these awful movies with the same type of titles, Deadlock Fortress, Apex, Hair of the Dog, Survive the Game, Midnight in the Switchgrass, Cosmic Sin, Breach. Etc; etc; if you have seen any of these well you have seen Out of Death , maybe at the end of his carrer he has decided to outdo both Nick Cage and Steve Segal combined for the worst library of lame movies at the tail end of a once respected carrer. Out of Death is bad i watched about half hoping it might get better , then FF till the end and realized this is just one of many stinkers from the star of such great flicks as Die Hard , and Sixth Sense . I wont be wasting my entertainment time on any more of these dogs . Dont reccommend.
In a way, it's impressive that they were able to put a coherent movie together with the obvious lack of good shots, takes and angles. Willis has so many projects he is working on, why participate in this one? A quick buck? I don't know, but in any event the missing scenes in which a double is taking his place (or rather, his hands and neck place) are absurd and it is so obvious it is not him it is almost comical. Nothing in this movie is actually good, but to make things worse, the "original" score by Mike Burns & Jacob Burton is horrible. By itself may not be bad, but as a background to this movie, it ruins every bit of a shred of suspenseful atmosphere. Combined with the all-over-the-place acting, silly dialogs and lack of action, there is not much salvation to this one. Watching this Frankenstein is an achievement by itself. Try it on your own risk. Exact score: 34 / 100.
Check the upcoming films he has in place, almost 20 in the years following the pandemic, and none are good. Almost every single one of them is a 1star or a 2star film. Absolute crap. He can't tell that he is not an actor anymore, he delivers his lines like a robot and it's only getting worse. Midnight in the Switchgrass he has a role that is better described as a cameo, he only has a few lines and it's cringey. Dude should just retire already. He's getting worse with age. And more Die Hard sequels and spin offs don't help.
Do anything but watch this movie. Not just boring, predictable and bad, but paired with the worst screen music in history. Script dialogue as boring as the exchange I had this morning with my dry cleaner, cinematography so inept that it might have been shot on an IPhone, and characters as empty as Donald Trump's integrity. It's bad.
