Good movie!

This is undeniably made on a smaller budget but this is not a reason to give a lower rating, as it seems many have. The story is decent and has a beginning, middle and end. The special effects are not Avatar standard but are a real, decent and honest attempt to carry the story. The actors are largely decent enough and the acting exactly what the story calls for. The science is realistic and understandable and not babbled for effect. There are no weak, gratuitous or irrelivant scenes that don't add to the story. ALSO the usual victim of low budget sci fi is poor quality DIALOGUE. This is relevant, understandable and well delivered. I really enjoyed this and despite seeming to justify the film - it's because of the story and production and not in spite of them.

Aliens wipe out the world and a small band of humans try to survive and find a way to fight back. This isn't an original story, but it is a classic one, and while being low-budget, this movie tells the story well. The locations are excellent, the main actress did a really nice job and the main actor was an interesting anti-hero type. This movie is kind of like Lo-fi music. If you need polished work to enjoy something, this probably won't be for you. What is going to stick out for most people about this movie are the aliens and their spaceships which are done using old school techniques: stop-motion, models hanging from strings, guys in suits, etc. and for some, these are going to look ridiculous, but there is a huge difference between inexpensive effects and bad effects. These effects are actually very creative and well-crafted and they are used well to tell the story. For me they are a million times better than much more expensive, poorly done CGI effects that really serve no purpose other than filling time that you see in so many movies. I would actually rate this higher except there was a main plot element that I found problematic. Overall though, great effort. Survival Lesson: Booze is valuable - For barter, dulling pain, cleaning wounds, and perhaps even interfacing with alien tech.

This film has all the right ingredients for a post-apocalyptic-scifi-fantasy-thriller-monster-horror-cult movie. Low budget and, let's say, some 'interesting' animation. But, really, an enjoyable watch. An appropriate dose of humor. Decent script with chirpy banter. The characters are standard issue but they're played believably by the cast. All around, I had fun with it. What more do you want from a movie than that?

I've seen a lot of movies in my day. This is very rough and looks homemade but good. I liked the story and the "Old Sinbad movie" CGI.

Must watch the whole movie to make a fair rating. Yes, it is corny and stupid, but the idea is good for If it had a real budget it might be good with graphics and acting. I have seen worse professional made movies. I have to give these guys E effort. You have to start somewhere and they went for it. Keeping trying and good luck

If I could rate it less than 1 star I would. Ever seen one of those cheezy 50's alien movies in black and white with really bad SFX and equally bad props and actors? This is just the modern version of that. I got to watch a couple of minutes and no, just couldnt anymore. Move along, nothing to see here.......

Utterly ridiculous. I would be embarrassed if I had anything to do with this waste of time!

raiapsara3122/11/22 15:35

Everything about it was bad, acting, special effects, story. From the very start you can see how bad it was, the effects looked like something from a bad, really bad 50's movie. There is so many bad things about this film I can't even put it in to words. PLease, writer/director, if this is your best, give up, Burger King are hiring.
