one of the most stupid movie you will come across, Albert bad acting, fake laughs and cry. everything about this movie is very annoying, now I know why it's rated 4, this movie should have 1 rating
What is it with the preponderance of all these obviously BLM movies these days pushing their agenda instead of giving us a good movie to watch; its simply awful. From utterly inappropriate music in the most awkward of places to stilted and woeful acting, story that has been done to death, the directing is mediocre and that is being generous, the script is almost non existent and the movie is just a long bore-fest! I hate politically motivated movies and this is a prime example and the fact that it is a terrible movies in almost every way makes me glad that I never paid to see it at the cinema as I would have demanded my money back.
One of the worst Movies in a long time. Meaningless plot, bad acting, and who ever wrote and directed this should be sued for wasting one and ahalf hour of peoples life. Do yourself a favor and avoid this poor excuse of a movie.
The acting in this movie is just laughable. I can't believe that John Cusak agreed to have anything to do with this film. It literally feels as though the "actors" are reading directly from a cue card. This is as bad as it gets.
This movie is terrible! Awful acting, rubbish plot, crap music. Don't waste your life! It is actually funny how bad it is.
Stilted acting, uninspiring dialogue and laughable cinematography are some of the best things about this film. I'm all for using film to highlight social issues and when done respectfully can make for truly memorable cinema. When this is rushed, under funded and poorly cast you end up with a film such as this. Sadly memorable only for it's short comings, 'River Runs Red' is at best laughable at worst unforgettable, but hey if you've nothing better to do with your evening give it a watch you may well answer the question "what would Ed Wood be doing now if he was a contemporary black / writer director?" 3 stars
Painful acting, low budget, and painful to watch. I don't know if they were trying to be artsy or were incompetent, but people's faces were always out of focus.
This was a well put together film reflecting alot of the harsh truths of the other side that the media refuse to portray & as usual will draw critics and disapproval from the sick & closed minds.
I too was looking forward to seeing this movie. I always enjoy a good vigilante film, but it seemed unnecessary to start off with him doing badly in law school to then jump to him being a judge. I hate saying this, but the casting for his wife was terrible, there was absolutely ZERO chemistry between them and for her to be playing a cop with such a strong accent(I could barely understand her). That was all I saw of the movie because two women then walked into the theater shining their flashlight in everyone's eyes. When they were told to turn off the flashlight, one of them yelled they had a gun and started screaming white privilege at the other movie goers as they ran out of the theater. After the chaos, one of them told the manager HER UNCLE WAS A PRODUCER on this movie. This movie obviously draws the wrong crowd (the producers relatives) so see it at your own peril.
