Description
The drama film Sandra Brown's White Hot, starring Shenae Grimes-Beech, Sean Faris, John Schneider, etc., directed by Mark Jean, was released on April 17, 2016 in Canada. Though it's widely believed her brother died from an accidental gunshot wound, Sayre soon begins to suspect foul play, and turns the town upside down when she launches her own investigation, attempting to discover the truth behind his tragic passing. Uncovering a web of dark secrets, lies, cover ups and revenge plots, Sayre struggles with family dynamics, terrifying threats and local law-enforcement officials. Despite becoming more and more attracted to Beck - and maybe even falling in love - Sayre remains determined to prove her brother was murdered and bring his killer to justice. Good movie!

The book was much better. I can understand changing some things for TV, but too much was changed. Took the oomph out of the ending.
I very much enjoyed the movie, I watched it a few times.
Little more than an extended episode of Days of Our Lives, spending any more than a few minutes at a time watching this WILL drop your IQ by at least ten points. Don't say you weren't warned!
I quite enjoyed this movie, it definitely held my interest throughout. The twists in the plot kept me guessing and character development was very good.
It's Hallmark, so it's clean of profanity, sex, and excessive blood. But it's still a murder mystery with buried secrets. Sayre is estranged from her family, but don't expect this to be a movie about family reconciliation. It's about bringing wicked men to justice. The climax had a clever plot twist that I did NOT see coming.
So funny...this movie was filmed in Camden Maine (at least the street scenes where you can clearly see the Laughing Cow, a gift shop in Camden). Small palm-like bushes are inserted to make it look like it's in the South, and also a brief view of an alligator! I'd love to know where the Coyle home is...gorgeous!
