Unlike the preceding Paramount "specials", this one actually didn't make me physically sick to the stomach, wondering what in the world this show has come to. Was it anything spectacular? No, not really. We got to see some Randy Marsh peepee and it highlighted how problematic influencing children using social media has gotten, actually in a somewhat funny/clever South Park way. Finally one of these Paramount+ "exclusives" didn't feel like a soul crushingly poor AI generated Netflix series crossover. Although it still had plenty of things that didn't feel right, at least it was worthy as an extension to the PC Principal series.

Cred is a sports drink that is all the rage at the kids' school and is a determinant of popularity - the more Cred you have, the more popular you are. Meanwhile, after a teacher at the school is discovered to been posting videos on Only Fans and making large amounts of money from it, Randy Marsh decides to become an Only Fans model. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are in top form in this South Park special. Poking fun at influencers, unhealthy, unnecessary sports drinks, the superficiality of social media and popularity and the stealthy, underhanded marketing to children this special is a great send up of some the blights of our age. Done in their usual biting, over-the-top style this special is hilarious yet powerful and profound. There are times when it comes close to being repetitive but the plot largely manages to avoid that with some very unpredictable changes of direction.

Wow, in this episode, Matt and Trey take on the biggest evil-ist empire yet, that is known to (and made by) man kind: social media big tech. . A multi-trillion dollar industry capable of crushing continents. . Excellent work in exposing this sickening expliicit targeting of children for online profit. Regulation needs to catch up quicly to this menace. . Okay, some more text required by IMDB. I recommend watchitng the following documentaries and/or movies: Social Network, The Social Dilemma, Not Okay, and of course, South Parks own visionary "The New Wendy" that that comically shows the effects on teenagers that choose to be not online anymore.

I rate said episode very well. For years, SP has made me laugh with his genius approach to humor, pointing out the pain points of everyday life, telling us stories about land and seas. With this particular episode, Trey and Matt have either hit the nail on the head or made a slight dent in showing viewers what they're capable of, and I hope they continue to do so. I would like to believe that the creators of SP remind themselves from time to time how incredible it is that society has been affected by the such of satire, not only in the US, but all over the world. Glad to see a vision become something more than a closed life's work.

From the social commentary of modern times, to subverting what your expectations are and going completely beyond the normal scope of even South Park. Almost every aspect of this episode has the hallmarks of a great south park episode. My young niece was obsessed with "Prime" this Christmas the soft drink that this episode untimely is about. An episode comply grounding in the moment. Then also going as far as parodying Only Fans. Geniusly making Randy Marsh the centre of this arc. It just works in a perfect whole that other recent south park epsiodes don't. And then even going as far as joking about the illuminati and powers that be that allows this stuff in our society. It's a no hoild bared episode of south park that I'm sure will stand the testament of time.
