I was kind of into the movie to see what crazy Natalie Clark was going to do with all of the people in the movie just to get next to simple, delusional, absent minded Leah until crazy, dysfunctional, etc, etc Natalie Clark said these desk "monkeys". I know it's just a movie, but I mean you couldn't have came up with a better or suitable word for her say or use instead of "monkeys" or maybe I'm just looking to far into it, just taking it out of context. Who put that word in the script? Who actually thought that word would be a good, wonderful idea for her to say such a word in a movie like this.

The dynamic Leah Sterling runs the popular Body and Mind Fitness center. She is a published author and is especially creative at promoting mindfulness at her studio. At the start of the film, she conceives of a contest in which the winner will receive personal training from Leah herself. The contest turns into a disaster when the winner is Natalie Clark, who is presently on parole after spending time in prison for assaulting a client at the motel where she worked as a maid. Natalie comes to idolize Leah to the point of self-delusion. Soon, Natalie's pathology will kick in to nearly ruin Leah's life. There was a good attempt to humanize the character of Natalie early in the film. For a brief moment, it appeared as if she was benefiting from the holistic approach to mind-body health. Unfortunately, after her meltdown at the studio, Natalie became a complete nut case. The situations and violent acts simply were not credible. There was a good set of secondary characters, including Leah's boyfriend Tom and her bestie Vanessa. The strength of the film was in the creation of the fitness center. But with the contest, everything started spinning out of control.

I'm glad inwatched this one, it was a definitely a near perfect lifetime thriller. Natalie, the villain in this was perfectly played by Kelcie. Her performance was insane and dark. I like how this one showed her fangs pretty early to her main target, a fitness guru Leah who she was obsessed with. This one really didn't follow the normal lifetime plot either with someone crazy who interjects themselves into the main characters lives and wreaks havoc behind the scenes until the final confrontation at the end. I did like how in the end that they show Leah begin to realize what her purpose of motivation does to somebody who was clearly already unbalanced. Nice touch to with the dog shock collar as well. Overall this was a well-made lifetime movie that I definitely enjoyed!

There was no real explanation for why Natalie was the way she was. Maybe I'll have to watch again to see if I missed something. But the cold open did not make any sense with regards to the rest of the movie. I guess it was just to put her in jail but why was she so psycho over simple requests that were part of her job? Why was she violent? This actress did another movie where she was basically emotionally abused by her mother into thinking she was useless, unworthy etc etc. That background would have been of use here bc she could have latched onto Leah who gave her some positive reinforcement. It might have been better if she'd been a fan of Leah's prior to going to jail so that there'd be some history as to why a "friendship" with her was so important, like in Death She Wrote. All in all, this was a decent movie. Nothing over the top or unbelievable. For once the protagonist (Leah) more or less received equal harm and danger as opposed to the norm where friends and family take the brunt before she realizes the situation. Very pleased that no one died. I did like that Natalie didn't have anyone fooled. Leah was a good female "boss." She didn't treat anyone like crap (except Tom smh) but she came to her senses. I just watched Bodyguard Seduction and that "boss lady" was so rude and mean to everyone that it was hard to sympathize with her. I'm glad the attacked assistant wasn't completely cast off as it usualy happens in most Lifetime movies. The Keystone cop was useless when it counted. He had reason to believe Leah was in danger, but doesn't bring back up. Leah and her bff/business partner play fighting with each other was weird but was obvs a set up for the climax. The only thing I wish was better was Natalie's motivation. Sure sometimes we never know what sets people off, but in movies it should make sense.

Kelcie Stranahan, who used to be a Lifetime regular, is quite convincing in the role for this movie. She plays Natalie Clark, an obsessive fan, who enters a marketing contest for a fitness company and wins!!! She gets a stationary bike and a month of virtual training, with none other than the fitness mogul and owner of the company, Leah Sterling, played nicely here by Ria Ridley. But Natalie is a psycho and wants Leah to be her only friend and her LIVE personal trainer ALL of the time! In order to make that happen, Natalie devises some elaborate schemes to cut Leah off from everyone in her life.... Just what will she do? Tune in to find out. This Lifetime movie was well acted, written and directed. Highly recommended!

As much as I like Kelcie Stranahan, she should have declined this role. The character was completely unbelievable. Hopefully she got a good payday from this stinker. Along the LMN formula, the police were inept and unhelpful. The scene where the Lt. Introduced himself to Leah in Tom's hospital room, they reached across him lying in bed to shake hands and then continued to have a conversation over the top of the comatose man. I think in reality, cops would have taken Leah aside and spoken to her away from Tom's bed. The violent nature of the film and the attacks did not seem to indicate anything- to the cops, to the parole officer, or to Leah and her colleagues. I wish I had avoided this one. I watched it because Kelcie was in it. If I had skipped it, I would still have a positive impression of her acting.
