Description
The TV series Stars of Hope, created by John Kenneth De Leon and produced by an unlisted studio, first premiered on February 24, 2020 in the Philippines. The series spans 1 season with 80 episodes, featuring the voices of Nora Aunor, Mylene Dizon, Kyline Alcantara, and Zoren Legaspi. It follows the story of The Dela Cruz are a humble family of grape farmers. They struggle to make ends meet, but married couple Cedes (Nora) and Damian (Ricky) are warmly respected by their grape-farm community. They supply grapes to notorious liquor magnates Martina (Isabel) and Ramon (Dante). Nolie (Mylene), Cedes and Damian's diligent daughter, is in a secret relationship with Anselmo (Zoren), the son of Martina and Ramon, who is only pursuing her for his own selfish desires. When greed consumes Martina, she orders the plantation to be burned down since the farmers won't sell their land. This unfortunate incident leads to Damian's death; Cedes goes berserk and accidentally kills Ramon. Worse, Nolie discovers that she's pregnant by Anselmo. Several years later, their stars once again align when Maggie (Kyline), Nolie and Anselmo's daughter, meets Jun (Yasser), Anselmo's son with Margaux (Ina) and falls in love with him. Meanwhile, Cedes is set to avenge the death of Damian and their stolen land with her newfound identity alongside Nolie who will likewise give Anselmo a taste of his own medicine. How will Maggie fight for the man of her dreams when their love is forbidden? How will Nolie seek revenge against the man who crushed her heart? And how will Cedes avenge the death of her husband from money-grubbing Martina. This is a Crime, Drama, Romance series and has received a rating of 7.4/10 from 12 viewers.
