Good movie!

I thought it will be an interesting movie ( the concept and the plot seem very attractive) but what a disappointment! For a second i thought i'm watching a second grade play....the actors are not getting into their roles at all ( just at the end they seemed more relaxed, but perhaps they were like this because they were also glad this ridiculous thing was coming to an end). do not waste your time! really is a huge stupid movie.

This is one of those movies that make you wonder why so much time was wasted making it and why we viewers wasted even a second watching it. Disjointed and senseless don't begin to cover the plot and editing. I'm not even sure you could consider the people in front of the camera as actually acting. The biggest improvement they could make would be to put a warning label at the very beginning, even before the credits roll, advising you to go out and shop at Wal Mart in your pajamas or something that will give you more purpose in life than watching this dog.

Don't watch this unless one of your friends or relatives is in it and then only watch it once. Be gentle with the feedback to them. If you do watch it, i warned you! The special effects are bad, the steampunk look is not on par and the characters don't do much.

I think I must be one of the few who really enjoyed this, even if it is a bit ... obvious, at least at the "almost end". Exiting, good plan, but it left me wondering when or if we will see the end? An interesting time travel plot, and a situation rather over used in so many world disaster style films, although quite well carried out here. Some interesting twists, and a little good action, but I'd like to see a follow up... In all it is worth while watching, despite some slightly pretty middle class acting, although the plot and the story line make up for it. Seen better, but seen far, far worse, so watch, enjoy and bite your nails, just a bit. Sorry, no spoilers, or nothing would be worth the time spent on it. Good SF, world in ruins with rebels on the good side, and the nasty world "rulers" as the baddies, but that does miss a deeper look. Although it's not an action packed war film, it is a war story, quite horribly plausible in its' setting, bearing in mind that we're watching SF, so I, for one, really do hope there will be a "Stasis 2".

The story was original, the acting was good. I did not feel it was as bad as some of the posted remarks (Trolls) Had a nice flair of Terminator and X-Men with a little Supernatural. For the budget it had I think they did very well with it. I would recommend it.

Rarely do I come across a movie I absolutely cannot stomach to finish. Typically, I do not pay heed to most reviews because I have been pleasantly surprised in the past over movies I assumed would be terrible. However, in this case, the acting was so horrid, the lines so cheesy and low brow that I felt more like I was watching one of those awful "Sci-Fi Network" type movies, which are oddly even Better than this one! I got about one hour in when I just couldn't bear to proceed. I literally had to stop this movie based on the acting and ridiculous lines Alone. The story line has True potential and I was excited, originally, by the plot. Yet, within minutes, I had an issue. Even still, I tried to press on because its weird with me. Once I get about 30 mins worth of a movie under my belt, my curiosity usually carries me through despite my like or dislike of said flick. Some rare movies, though, I cannot muster the desire to complete. In my life, my Entire Life, I have only walked Out of 5 films, just so you get the idea, and I have watched thousands. Do yourself a favor. Do Not waste a single minute of your life on this film because If you do, you Will wish you could travel back in time too just so you can stop yourself from watching this flick!!

The script was pretty fine. It has all the basics that a good story should have according to the Bob McKee story writing school. There was a reason why, a motive, gaps, artifacts and profound characters.The script could be a 8 or even a 9. It might have lacked some sort of a car chase scene for a perfect 10. But the direction? Oh, god, the direction. All acting were plain and bi dimensional. We where talking about saving the world here and no one ever ran, cried, laughed or shouted during the whole movie. Jeeze. They lost a great script here.

I would give a more in depth review if I could but i admit i stopped watching it to look up all the negative reviews which provided me more entertainment value then the 10-15 minutes i watched of the film so far.
