Created an account just for the review... it's that poor. Maybe a teen audience from the 80's would have made it through watching Filming wasn't too bad but the acting was poor and the directing/writing was amateur. Sound was all over the place C'mon. Fake reviews are so obvious. Recently created reviewer accounts and not to mention the finely crafted reviews they all posted. No typos, impeccable grammar/spelling - average people usually aren't that meticulous

Everything is poor in this film. It is not just that it is amateurish and low budget. There are good low-budget films, if the director has any skill. Here there is not one original idea. Special mention for the awful acting of the male main character.

I had the pleasure of watching "Stay Out Stay Alive" for its world premiere screening at Portland Horror Film Festival in late May 2019. As I said in my Gruesome Magazine review, "A group of young hikers finds that the opportunity for sudden wealth leads them down dangerous paths in the horror outing Stay Out Stay Alive . . . Stay Out Stay Alive is fine, suspenseful scare fare, with rousing set pieces, a pervading sense of doom, masterly direction, and super performances from its ensemble cast. It's definitely one to keep an eye out for as it begins its film festival run."

Great cast with significant character development - Stay Out Stay Alive will keep you surprised until the end.

Don't get all the 1 reviews it wasn't a bad movie about greed amongst friends and what it can do and no ive got nothing to do with whoever made the movie there are much worse films around for sure

This movie reminded me a little of "The Ruins" which could be a little corny but still suspenseful to watch. I don't mind if some things may not be perfect or seem silly, it was still a film I was glued to like the Ruins. I love movies like this personally.

As far as a "horror" picture... not so much. This movie is a Thriller / Drama and a pretty good one at that. These well written and acted movies come around so rarely and this one really stands out as having a somewhat original story with captivating characters . Stay out... -but it's so hard to leave.

I was surprised at how well the tension built as the movie progressed to a climactic ending! Great performances throughout the cast, especially from Brandon Wardle as Reese - he reminds me of a young Matthew McConaughey with an edge! The direction, sound mixing and special effects are a testament to the hard work of industry veterans on what feels like a passion project that I'm glad they put the effort into creating for the rest of us to enjoy a genuine thrill!
