Good movie!

A solid genre film that impressively manages to fit a lot of post-apocalyptic tropes into its brisk running time. The plot is wafer-thin; it's essentially a very bloody road movie. But it's entertaining and Kate Bosworth does enough to suggest she could fulfill the role of lead in a bigger, more ambitious film.

Seriously. Yeah it's not the exact same premise as the Fallout series, but it does have some major similarities. The many different factions and gangs vying for control and resources, everyone walking around with modified weapons, the distinct different settlements, the booby-traps, and even the radio jockey commenting on the latest happenings in the wasteland, I mean the domestics. No, there are no deathclaws or ghouls, but it still kind of has that feel. The movie itself is action-packed with some solid pacing and decent acting. There are some plot holes and the ending leaves a little bit to be desired but it is a fun ride nonetheless. Some of the characters motivations were a little confusing but maybe I'm just over-thinking it. Overall, I love these kind of movies and this one did not disappoint. It really tried to be cool and for the most part it succeeds. It's not perfect, but if you enjoy it for what it is you will probably like it. Easily a 7/10

This is one of the most stupid films ive seen for ages. i know, its made for the living dead, and prepping generation. i find nothing new in this film apart from that it has wide relations the the mad max era,especially 1 and 2, and would at that time scared the guts out of everybody.but not today, were used to watch junk like this on tv every day,so whats new here....? its a lousy product,cheap degign,thin story,outdated costumes,bad filmo., and most of all no goal or moral to tell us why this outrage happens at all... this topic is unfortunatelly outdated, and the film is a total wreck.i give 1,and thats a low one.........

REVIEW - THE DOMESTICS Occasionally a film comes along which just blows your mind, a story which is epic, characters that draw you in and make you care what happens to them and even believable interaction between the characters making a film a truly enjoyable watch. Recently a film was released called Future World and this film reminded me of that, why? The Domestics for some strange reason got rave reviews and to clarify this is in no way an enjoyable film, the story is so pathetic it just makes you cringe, not to mention the pathetic female lead who's character just got me so angry with her stupidity. Lame story, lazy writing and just boring, yes another future world and yes this film will blow your mind but for all of the wrong reasons. Rating 3 out of 10

It's not a bad film, and probably worth watching when it comes on TV - that's about it really. The acting is good but the characters are a bit silly in many ways as the story progresses. So if you can't think of anything to watch this isn't a bad choice provided you don't have many expectations for a film that is trying to cash in on the current tend for post-apocalyptic stuff. What I would like to know is how they still have mains electricity.

Do some implausible things happen? Of course. It's a post apocalyptic movie. This is forgiven due to the fact that it's well put together vs what the norm is. The scripts and acting are decent The characters are fairly well thought out and there's plenty going on with the story and action factor to keep you engaged. I might have liked to have seen a few things switched up, but overall there's not much to complain about. Can't say that for a lot of the movies in this genre.

Inexplicable character changes and nonsensical actions are mixed with the most ludicrous ideas of 'Escape from New York' and 'Beyond the Thunderdone' by what appears to be a teenage script writer.
