cool movie for suspense and relaxation
I found the main character Belinda (Brandy ) worst actress by far. Belinda's character was cruel and wicked. Solange (mother in law ) wa very good. Solange was elderly and frail. The mockery of elderly being incontinent and had some form of dementia and mobility issues as rhe running joke which i found hugely upsetting and sad. Belinda was horrible to her. The real evil was Belinda. I think people who have cared for a parent or grandparent with dementia will understand the cruel behaviour Solange endured than those who have never experienced that. The movie was all over the place no coherence. Solange was brilliant. Movie was unimpressive.

A24 is such a go to for me, not on this one my friends. What a pile of poop, literally. First of all lets gets this out of the way, reverse racism at it's worst. Give me a break, no on cares. Second, singers are not a given when it comes to acting, what a second pile of poop seeing the cringe worthy display of "acting" Third pile of poop, the movie is literally, about piles of poop. Wow, did you even try when writing this one. I walked out of the theatre, I was so damned bored, I was one of many. I don't suggest you even read this review, let alone spend your hard earned dollars on this Pile of Poop.
There has to be a better way to introduce a campy thriller without pretending to be serious. I think from the beginning if I knew it was slapstick horror, I may have been able to digest it as it was. After too many scenes featuring feces, urine, and farting one has to wonder why a treasure such a Brandy thought this is the role to sink her teeth into. If it were a serious horror, I would understand. But for what this is, it's for some one of a C-Level of celebrity. The actress that played the stepmother was very entertaining considering the brand of story telling. The premise of the old trope of the evil stepmother seemed very promising and relatable and unfortunately a ball was dropped.
