That this is a children/family movie , made on pure lust and quite a lot of lack of economic muscles to provide the most magical cinematographic effects. Some smoke , thunder and lightening , and makeup and costumes give some nerve of horror to the young ones, but not for a grumpy old man like i am. The cast do deliver ok, the main child actress is quite neat and havent any camerafears at all, so this is a talented one, the grandma caracter though, supposed to be demented doesnt show much sign of dementia. The story has some grains of originality, but the source of inspiration must be taken from ''somewhere over the rainbow''(cant fetch the title so im well into the dementia you see). The music of classical origin hangs on like a fly on the wall, but the benigness of the target audience shines through all the time. The grim crawler from the undergrounds shouldve been an adult male actor with some deep vocals to shiver some nerves, the adolescent one casted is just like a lambs voice. Plotspeed is rather slow at moments the scare factor at 2 from 1 to ten, so just a 5 stars outta 10, and then im really goodwilling.
I think this storytelling in this film is a of those feature films that get over looked by other top billing feature films. I like performances of Cora Metzfield who plays Lily. A girl who wants her parent to wake up from a very tragic accident. The character lily has very vivid imaginations about solving her problems caused by the event that challenged her. So now, the actress Cora creates her personal take as the character Lily goes on an adventure to find people who she meets. She asks many visitors questions so she can help her through her imaginary world of coping with the trauma and pain by asking them questions.
