In the credits this movie claims Revelation 19:20 says: this is the spirit of the antichrist which you heard was coming and now is in th world already. WRONG WRONG WRONG This passage actually says: And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet in its presence had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. Perhaps the former passage is from the catholic bible.
I like this movie because of the end of times bible stuff I've been looking for a movie like this but I didn't find one until this movie but I really like how they did the antichrist stuff it was very cool but it would've been way better if the ending wasn't so bad. They also should've made a second movie.
Totally incoherent editing and pacing make this film almost unwatchable. And the very few scenes which do make some sense are unintentionally hilarious. And the acting was bland all around except for the lead actress Olivia ( or something idk), her acting was so laughable. She single handedly made the whole movie to a comedy. Don't watch this movie if you value your time.
Seriously now - I can't believe someone at Lionsgate actually approved this horrible production. This is one of those movies that you watch and then suddenly the end credits appear and you ask yourself "what the f...". I mean, had it at least been scary. Or surprising. Or anything... No plot, just a sequence of exorcism or possession scenes that are very short, un- scary and not even surprising or mysterious. No hidden message, no good guys or bad guys, just a boring possession. No point at the end, no development during the movie... just people doing things while being shot by a camera and then it ends - with simply nothing really happening or any hint of anything. Quite boring, pointless and the acting is far from convincing. The horror is the fact this film was ever released. It truly scares me that there's someone who actually approved this!
the Antichrist is a woman ?? okay thats maybe fine but how did he came inside her by a knife ??? in here 25 birthday ?? or by the bird , and where is the chair in the movie it just disappeared that was weid and why the bird can contact who is the bird and why the father didn't die what happened to him this is not cool
I went with my friends to the cinema. I don't know what is happening with horror movies in Hollywood but please stop. If the people in the cinema were laughing something is wrong. The clichés, the special effects, the actors and OMG don't let me start with the "exorcism" part. That has to be one of the worst scene in the horror industry. Yes, it was that bad. I don't like to put down someone work but stop doing this kind of horror movies. And with the final you can know that there is going to be a part two and that my friends is the only really scary part in the movie.
is it just me or ms Taylor Dudley not only looks uncannily like Patricia arquette in stigmata but also has a similar hair cut? i believe it is not correct to quote words of the present pope out of context and use them to support a flimsy history. no matter what your religion is, i consider completely out of place to use any past or present religious leader or their images to make the story credible. At least, The Exorcism (the first one) has not shown such low tricks
