Budderball, B-Dawg, Buddha, Mudbud and Rosebud go to an exhibit on Ancient Egypt with Pete (Mason Cook), who is the grandson of Thomas Howard (Richard Riehle), a retired archaeologist. Phillip Wellington (Edward Herrmann) is a British archaeologist and is also on display with his cat Ubasti. However, Phillip Wellington is a fake, antique thief. The Buddies on their way to the rescue... Like all their predecessors, cute, cuddly and silly... Same script, just changes the human characters (and maybe a rotation of doggies) and the location of the adventures... Here a desert in Egypt, funny and cute like all the others... Let's go to the last one to finish the franchise...

My youngest loves everything tons his friends stuffed animals not allowed to call them toys.. so this obv his type of films. have had to endure space buddies and some other one about snow etc.. now I am really really really sorry but I have to leave the room I just cant stand it at all... hey dawg whats up rubbish infurating talk. with nasty cheesy grating voices yuck yuck yuck the monkey omg omg and i thought beverly hills chis were really bad esp the second one.. no no no nononononoooooooooooooo"!! i have endured it once and bits of it on off. i guess it has a story line dawg.. my middle son has watched it also.. now my youngest would say its bril and cute esp the camel and can watch it lots of times and not tire of it to much.. so if you adult seen the others didnt mind enjoyed then you can stick it out sure you will like this one to its good as story lines go and different like others.. if like me grates on you then leave the room .. if you have kids that love this nonsense then buy it for them it harmless i guess???? dawg////

So called Treasue buddies was not golden at all. I would say this is trash so if it's your tressure that's cool with me. but why did they have different ACTORS FOR EACH CHARACTER!!! I SPENT MY ALLOWANCE MOVIE JUST FOR THUS!?!??! sadly i find this really rascist towards women!! WHY WAS THE CAT A WOMEN! WHY COULDNT THE THEIF BE A GIRL!

Rated G??!?????!!!!! And an evil man causes another person to fall into snake pit and never be seen again?? I'm lucky my kids didn't have bad dreams.......... . . ... The puppies were cute........ .... The monkey annoying. The quality of filming was fine. I'm just upset that it was only rated G because my kids were scared and if I had known what it would be like, I don't have never gotten this movie for them. It was OK, overall, but I could have lived without it................ My kids also found the Cobra part scary. Some parts were funny...Such as the camel spitting. The puppy dialog was often funny. The monkey was sometimes hard to understand.............................I don't think my kids followed that very well.

i grew up with lassie Rin tin tin and watched it with my family and of course Disney this is magic and i now watch these buddies with my grandkids i think all these poor ratings and terrible remarks are very harsh kids today see and hear way to much family has gone out the window the joy of sitting with my grandkids and believe me i look forward to the next buddies was just wonderful spend some time with your kids instead of all this violent crap pop in a really cute moving like this without analyzing it for god sakes,i don't want to grow up i want movies like this to share .life is really hard today for children a simple series like the buddies is just wonderful i have bought each one and we watch them over and over.

I don't agree with the other posts. I think it was pretty good. Same as the other Buddies movies. We got it on Tuesday. My son loved it! He was so excited to see it and has watched it twice already. He loves the puppies, especially Butter ball. Who is funny.The monkey is funny too. I think that the idea of an adventure in Egypt was pretty cool. A movie that is in an exotic location with the mysticism of an ancient artifact was interesting. I thought it was a cute and kid friendly movie. My husband said he just liked Cleopatra-laugh out loud! I would recommend it if you have little kids. Its just a fun movie. I had read a review that said it was the "indiana Jones" movie for kids, I can agree with that! My son also liked Santa buddies-too cute.

I cant believe movie makers in Hollywood still produce movies in 2012; after the whole world has witnessed the reality of the middle east region and how civilised it is, to teach your children that Egypt is still a desert where people wear costumes that has vanished 100s of years ago! The funny thing is that the production team did enough effort to use the new car plate numbers used in Egypt which has been applied 2 years ago only! Now i am not surprised why whenever i visit some cities in the states and i just mention i am from Egypt, some people stare at me wondering how did i reach the US!!!!! Shame on all the production teams, you are indirectly educating our children and building very wrong information about the rest of the world. aside from that, the movie is very poor in terms of animation and effects, and i can ensure middle eastern producers can even produce something much more real than this

well, the speaking animals were animated okay, the story is a little bit interesting. But thats all. Everything looks really unreal and cheap made. I can't believe it has 9 of 10 stars at this moment. Looks like a movies made i the late 80's, just in HD. My son watched it, for him it was okay. But i expected something better than that, made with more love to the detail. For me it seems like it's just thrown on the market, if the parents like it or not doesn't matter, the kids in Wall Mart will cry as long as they get the DVD / Blu Ray... 1 star because at least my son liked it a little bit, but he enjoys other movies more, like all this animated movies and so on. I also found some stuff in the movie what is not really okay for young kids, like the "bad guy" is acting with the guys around him and so on, also the bad animated temple cats were weird.

I agree with the post above, I am a fan of the previous buddies movie but this new 2012 one just doesn't cut it for me, The movie is terrible, the animation on the animals lips are really bad, and the verb-age used just does not seem to fit in place. I must admit I did like the story line, but other then that this movie is a disaster. Quite frankly I think Babe was better then this. No offence to the directors, but while watching this I felt like Kids had made this movie. This is defiantly not better then Snow puppies or the ones before it. So in summary Ill give it 2/10 stars.
