Good movie!
good movie
We are all now dumber. My family doesn't deserve this. I want my money back and it was free with Prime. Spoiler alert this movie sucks. Still not sure how this movie actually got made.
I stopped halfway through the movie to check the review of this movie. I enjoyed the acting to a certain extent. Story had to much going on and I was confused at times. Some lines did not make sense, like telling someone to move when you can clearly see that their hands and feet are bound. I didn't even know it was a horror movie until the middle. Thank you to everyone involved in creating this movie I am sure all you talents will become better. As of now this movie is not the best it could of been.
This film reminds me of movies made in the 1980s especially Vamp. I like that they used practical effects (which is synonymous with 1980s horror films) rather than go down the modern CGI route. The storyline is ok... It has been done before but it is what it is. It is a middle of the road film that does not enthral nor bore the viewer.
This movie is just wrong. It has a story that jumps all over the place, a poorly written script and terrible acting. As a result the movie is hard to follow. In general the characters are irrelevant, unidirectional and have no development throughout the movie. On a positive note some of the special effects are decent. Outside of that there was little to no entertainment value.
The heist premise was fine. It evaporated in the countryside and then I was watching another movie. I was able to trim the viewing time to about 15-20 minutes (or less) by fast forwarding through all the garbage to get a sense of the unremarkable and forgettable story/"plot". You might want consider doing the same.
Wrong place, wrong time for a silly vampire flick filled with expendable characters and based around the tired plot of battery with intent to commit a crime.
A group of five thieves steal from cartels etc. They have the whole world after them. Four are a tight knot group. Gabriel (Mike Markoff ) the fifth wheel is a "ghost" without a past. They plan on pulling a big heist, Ocean's 11 stuff and we don't get to see it. We do see them speeding off with Gabriel shot. They pull into a house far off the beaten track. Now the genre shifts. We have seen these films before where the bad guys go into a house and they become part of a trap or the house is haunted. In this one, PLOT SPOILER. Vampires. It is a film whose plot has been done before, It is one I enjoy except in this case I didn't care for any of the characters. There was a lack of build up. Plus they should have showed us something that happened in the house as a preview of things to come. Having us trying to figure out what we already knew was a waste. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.
Well, I stumbled upon the 2021 movie "Wrong Place, Wrong Time" by random chance, and of course I opted to sit down to watch it as it was a movie that I hadn't already seen. And I had no idea what I was getting into here, as I sat down to watch the movie from writer and director Justin Price. So it is fair to say that I had no expectations, nor any clue what I was in for. "Wrong Place, Wrong Time" started out well enough, but then settled into a monotonous pace and never recovered from that downward slope. I am sure that if you have never seen a vampire movie before, then there is some enjoyment to be had by watching "Wrong Place, Wrong Time". But for us that have sat through vampire movies before, then "Wrong Place, Wrong Time" just didn't really cut it. It was just too mundane and slow paced. The make up and prosthetics in the movie were a bit all over the place, because some of the effects looked rather interesting and good, while others were just an eyesore to look at. Personally, I must say that the make-up department did a good job with the master vampire, because that looked good, though there was no articulation on the face when the actor tried to mumble his dialogue through the latex. "Wrong Place, Wrong Time" was not a movie that brought me much of any entertainment, though I managed to sit through the entire ordeal. And this is definitely not a movie that I would recommend fans of the vampire genre to rush out to get their hands on or sink their fangs in. My rating of this 2021 action horror movie from writer and director Justin Price lands on a generous three out of ten stars.
