A Spanish (based in beautiful Barcelona) over-violent crime movie a bit too xtreme: fight after fight after fight, who is working for who is working for who; but Lucero does make a pretty villainous villain.
The film is somewhat good and somewhat bad. The usual mafia revenge story, but somewhat interesting at times. But, totally something is off. The Direction should have been far better. Some scenes really look amateur. Watchable for action film fans.
A lot of unrealistic scenes but the fighting and action were good. They can kill 100 men with only 2 hand guns? I think one hand gun shot the chair more than 20 times. The main guy and the bad main killer seemed like they were terminators. Stabs, bullets, getting run over by a car, falling 20 feet didn't really hurt them. The description of the movie is wrong. Not his father and not his brother. Overall, a pretty good action flick, if you don't think too much.
Handguns with no limit of ammunition. A drug dealing sidekick taken under the wing. 2 stars is generous.
Blood & guts, rubbish storyline, bad fast subtitles.
Lots of action and fun to watch. Only thing that really bugged me was when Maria ran over Finito to save Leo but never finished him off so that he can go after her again later on in the movie. Just seems silly to gab the gun and leave.
The plot was good and the actions scenes were on point. Ending could've been better though. Rest the movie is entertaining and you'll love the action scenes for real. Don't go for negative reviews. It's a must watch .
I renewed my account, revalidated it just to review this movie. The writer and director sat down with someone else who watched Taken, John Wick, Kill Bill, and The Gentleman then decided they could mold them together into an action movie, but instead just mixed 4 different colors of play dough to turn it into brown clay that no one wants to use. Outside of the english dub making it sound like voice acting/ translating was brought to you by google translate, the story and world building was put together by a toddler. However, the practical effects and plot armor really were refreshing to see with so much cgi.
Great action movie - definitely look forward to the sequel. A Spanish John Wick-lets see if the world accepts in same vein as the original John Wick franchise.
