I would rather saw my own b*llocks off with a rusty pen knife.

If you have a short attention span, as many others that left a review have, then this movie is not for you. There aren't horse chases, fist fights, or lots of gun battles. It's a simple movie about a woman searching for her husband's killer. She spends most of her time alone traveling through a largely uninhabited wilderness. The cinematography was very good. It looks to my eye to have been filmed in the northwest USA. I suspect this is a lot more true to life, during the time period it portrays, than the big budget shoot 'em ups that the other reviewers so desperately wanted this to be. It's not a bad movie, it's just a movie that todays adults, with their video game addictions, and there constant need for entertainment, can't cope with.

Slowly and badly story progress.Absolutely waste of time. There is, however, a potential issue.

The story in this movie was so thin that it was nearly non existant. The dialog, weak. The best part of this movie was the scenery. I got the impression the story and actors were just an after thought.

Mountain Man outlaw Jedediah (Todd A. Robinson) asked Mary O'Malley the right question when he asked her how she knew where she was going. Because by any reasonable standard, the viewer can't possibly know how she expected to find the man who killed her husband. Her plan to follow the only clear path through the woods made no sense at all, but for the sake of the story, you had to take it on faith she was moving in the right direction. There's a whole slew of these recent Westerns out there that are just terribly written and acted, but with such stunning scenery that it somewhat makes up for the story. Only somewhat though. And there's also a little of the old bait and switch with the name of Lance Henriksen in the credits for this one, who's fourth billed but only appears for about five minutes in an opening segment. He did the same favor for 2019's "Eminence Hill", though that was a considerably better Western, but not by much. At least the crazy old coot Marrow (Kevin Makely) livens things up a bit near the finale with his cannibal gig. He reminded me a lot of Ray McKinnon in the HBO series "Deadwood" in which his character, Reverend Smith, had a fatal bout of epilepsy, waxing philosophically about all manner of things before he went belly up. At first glance, that's who I thought it was in this picture. Let me, along with just about every other reviewer here, try to ward you off from this picture as it doesn't have a compelling story to tell, and there's no other reason to check it out. Unless you like gorgeous, scenic cinematography.

This has got to be the most BORING movie I have EVER watched. The main character is about as exciting as watching grass grow.. I actually found myself cheering for the villain, hoping he'd knock off the heroine, if you want to call her that. I watched all the way till the last 5 minutes hoping something would redeem the time I'd already lost. This movie and the actress were seriously bad!

Samsam1922/11/22 18:01

Watch the first 5 minutes, then skip to the last 5 minutes. This is nothing more than a 10 minute movie, at best. There are more scenes of rivers, streams and oceans than anything else of importance through the middle of it.

Don't try to watch it ever....never don't, waste your time awful so bad in all the meaning of each letter

Almaz_Mushtak22/11/22 18:01

Awful awful movie. long and boring. no action no good ending just plain crap. i wasted money on this and a little piece of my time that i wont get back...take it from me, do not watch this heaping steaming pile of crap.

hasona_al22/11/22 18:01

Movie starts out ok, then drags all the way to the end, how she goes about trying to get revenge is just all together boring. Also the way she acts at times makes no sense if she was really out there doing this. Waste of time.
